The partnership will support joint work to raise awareness, influence change and deliver solutions that help protect those at risk. By combining expertise and sharing learning, the organisations aim to build stronger, safer communities and extend access to support and protection for more individuals.
Through joint communications, awareness campaigns and collaborative initiatives, the partnership will seek to amplify prevention messages and increase reach across public, private and voluntary sector networks.
Our Safer City’s mission is to help prevent violence against women and girls and domestic abuse by forming alliances with relevant public and private companies in the City of London, with the long-term aim of developing a framework that can be adopted nationally.
Addressing Domestic Abuse CIC (ADA) is a specialist, survivor-focused organisation dedicated to improving responses to domestic abuse across communities, services and systems. Resolute Women’s Support Services is a specialist organisation supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse. It provides trauma-informed, holistic support including advocacy, counselling, group programmes and practical assistance to help survivors rebuild their lives safely and with dignity. Its approach focuses on empowerment, long-term recovery and creating sustainable pathways away from abuse.
A key area of Resolute’s work is the implementation of a proximity alert system for domestic abuse perpetrators. This innovative approach uses monitoring technology and a linked app to provide real-time alerts, helping create safer spaces and offering reassurance to victims. The recent funding secured for the pilot marks a significant step forward in enhancing victim protection and holding perpetrators to account.
Together, Our Safer City, ADA and Resolute Women’s Support Services will work to combine expertise, share learning and deliver collaborative initiatives that strengthen domestic abuse responses and improve safety for victims and survivors.
