HELPING WOMEN FIND THEIR STRENGTH, DETERMINATION & DIGNITY AFTER DOMESTIC ABUSE

Our mission is to bring lasting change to people’s lives by delivering trusted domestic abuse services and changing society’s perception of domestic abuse.

OUR PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS

TAG & APP

Following our charity’s sustained campaigning for stronger offender monitoring, the Government has now committed to the largest expansion of electronic tagging in British history.

Tens of thousands more offenders—including domestic abusers, burglars and other high‑risk individuals—will be subject to GPS tracking, alcohol monitoring, and new proximity alert technology designed to warn victims if an offender gets too close. This “tag and app” approach will give probation teams real‑time data to intervene earlier, better protect victims, and prevent further harm.

As Prisons Minister James Timpson said: This is the biggest expansion of tagging in British history and means the most dangerous offenders will now be watched more closely than ever before… we’re making sure those who pose the biggest risk are under constant scrutiny to better protect victims and the public.

This landmark step reflects what we have long called for: smarter use of technology to close the gaps in supervision, strengthen accountability, and put the safety of victims at the centre of the justice system.

SUPPORT & ADVOCACY

Resolute draws on lived experience to deliver support that is both authentic and truly effective for survivors of domestic abuse. By grounding our approach in real understanding, we ensure that the help we provide is practical, compassionate, and tailored to the complex realities people face. Our work is driven by a commitment to making support meaningful and accessible for those who need it most.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We recognise the value of working alongside others—whether individuals, communities, or partner organisations—to strengthen our impact. By sharing knowledge and learning from diverse perspectives, we are better able to achieve our mission and create lasting, positive change.

We are equally committed to empowerment through supportive and inclusive practices. We strive to create environments where every individual feels respected, heard, and capable of making informed choices about their future. By fostering confidence and resilience, we help those who engage with us to take control of their own journeys.
Above all, Resolute is dedicated to making a positive difference.

Our aim is to enhance the lives of survivors and their families in meaningful ways, supporting them as they rebuild and move forward. Every action we take is guided by our belief that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.
