STAYING RESOLUTE
Resolute Women’s Support Services was established in 2021 with the aim of improving the support available to women experiencing domestic abuse and violence. We were founded in response to a clear need for more effective, compassionate, and accessible services that place women’s safety and wellbeing at the centre of support.
Since its inception, Resolute has worked to provide a more responsive and dedicated service, ensuring that women facing abuse have access to the help, guidance, and protection they need. By focusing on tailored support and advocacy, we’ve strived to empower women and help them rebuild their lives free from harm.
OUR FOUNDER
Deborah Jones is the visionary founder and CEO of Resolute Women’s Support Services, a charity dedicated to empowering women affected by domestic abuse and violence. After surviving a decade of abuse and courageously rebuilding her life with her two children in 2018, Deborah transformed personal adversity into purpose. During her recovery, she uncovered critical gaps in the systems meant to protect survivors—gaps that inspired her to take action.
In 2021, she launched Resolute Women’s Support Services to address these systemic failures and provide holistic, survivor-led support. Under her leadership, the organisation became a registered charity in 2023 and now delivers advocacy, resources, and pathways to long-term safety, independence, and resilience for women across the UK.
Deborah’s work is rooted in lived experience, driven by compassion, and guided by a relentless commitment to social change. She brings a powerful voice to conversations around gender-based violence, trauma-informed care, and community-driven solutions.
THE LOTUS
The Lotus is the dedicated building at the heart of Resolute , serving as a safe, welcoming, and empowering space for women accessing support. Designed to reflect calm, resilience, and growth, the Lotus provides a confidential environment where women can seek advice, attend support sessions, and begin their journey towards recovery. The space brings together a range of services under one roof, enabling a holistic approach to support while fostering a sense of community and security for those who use it.
